I Want To Get A Haircut!

My hair is too long to bear for me, must get it cut, weather rather hot and humid nowadays. So today I woke up slightly past 9.40 AM, last night slept almost 3, played Carrom with my uncle. Reached church at 1 PM, then went down together with Pastor Mary to eat lunch. Almost got to eat the Ba Chor Mee stall, dang, was too crowded. So we went to the opposite food centre. Jeremy joined us after we had ordered our food not long. He and Pastor Mary ate the mutton noodle soup. I ate the char siew + roasted pork rice, full of pork I know, random. O: Then we went to church to have our usual bible study lesson, Yong En joined us. Then I simply came back home after it ended. And I was really bothered with my hair, really going to get it cut, even if Mum's going to stop nagging about it...



Not that hairstyle though! Hahaha. (:

Nature Is Mostly Unfathomable

Today just watched Heroes Season 3 up to episode 3, then did some tasks on my laptop. Did not do really much, felt rather energetic now because I slept quite a lot. O: Hmm today just thought a lot about nature. Sometimes we think how all these really started, it is believed God created this wonderful Earth in 6 days, but in exact details, how? God's creation is something we can't fathom, God is unfathomable himself. Ok, since many of you out there don't believe that it is God in heaven who created this Earth, then how it actually come about? I don't even think scientists got the proper exact details, there are many things which cannot be challenged by science or human knowledge. Many miracles in the world cannot be challenged, such are the works of our unfathomable God. Being a small tiny bit (like how micro-organisms are to us) of God's works, I feel blessed to be treasured by him. (:

No To RPG Computer Games Addiction

Woke up at 8+ AM today, got ready for church and reached church almost 10 AM. Today cell got pot luck, so much food, I brought chicken wings. We even had to ask some other people help us finish. O: Then slacked around till service started, Pastor Thomas the speaker or today. His message will be super useful to all the gamers and many youngsters out there. Seriously, many games like MapleStory is ruining your lives, only gives you some false satisfaction when leveling up or gaining some good items, but when you mature up and think of it, your life won't be making any progress and gets worse. Such games may worsen your attitude, like you may get more violent or rude. It'll also definitely affect your studies, I've seen many life examples myself. What Pastor Thomas say is true, haha, the people in the virtual world don't need you, your parents do! Your textbooks and notes need your attention! Maybe at least play more decent games like Bridge or Big 2.5! Haha. The loads of time taken to play an RPG game can do me lots of stuff actually. Saw the documentary which the guy confessed about playing World Of Warcraft and get addicted to it, it impresses me that he could bear to delete all his characters and account which he enjoyed playing a lot, and he took a huge step to conquer the addiction and burn the discs. I agree with him that it'll be a heartache, after attaining his characters to very high levels, but it'll be an important and meaningful step to get on with his life and do better things with it. So maybe we should understand parents who are taking pains to nag us off our computers, although it may sound annoying to some of us. After service, I went home, used the computer awhile and left together with my family to my grandmother's house. Grandmother cooked curry chicken huge drumsticks + potatoes, ate it with the bee hoon, shiok. :D Then talk and talk, my Aunt showed me the website to the E.U. show, can start watching already. Then left Grandmother's house at almost 9 PM. And after watching episode 1 of E.U., here I am blogging. End of story. (:

Just a short update of today. Supposed to leave the house at 5 PM, but after playing Big 2.5 for awhile, I realised that it was past 5 PM already. So I quickly finished off the last game and changed up and left for church. Lucky got people late... O: So ate my dinner there, but lunch was better, Malay Rice! :P Meeting ended at 8 PM, so I went home, did not stay for prayer meeting for this time. That's it for this short post! (:

May Time Travel Slowly Now

The white peacock so beautiful! Prefer it to a peacock with original colours. Today also mostly at home, kinda regret not meeting up with mum and go shopping... Cause today got plentiful of free time. Sigh. My holidays are numbering, wish that time doesn't travel too fast now... I even put that as my Facebook status. Cherishing all the rest time I got, school reopens = time to work my ass off. Must prove myself and others that Polytechnic is not equivalent to slack. That's all I'm posting for today, just to make it short. (:

Confidence - Small Ingredient To Success?

Nothing to share about my day, so just a little to share about confidence. I'll make this short, don't fall asleep yet! Haha. One little 'ingredient' to success is confidence. It may be described as 'little', but the amount of it must be well measure. Too much of it will become 'over-confidence', too little of it will be 'not enough confidence'... Ok that sounds the obvious and crap, yet many people still don't measure it well. People can go like 'Sian... I made careless mistakes for my maths test... Cannot get full marks... Sad.' (some of you may know where this example came from, hehe), why display that kind of low confidence?! I mean don't go overboard like... 'Siah lah, the paper easy siah. Confirm A1!', that'll be over-confident. But at least go 'You did well (fill your name here), try harder and be more careful next time, you can do it!'. Only with good morale, then you'll at least have motivation to go on, if not wouldn't half the battle be lost? So all the best people, you guys can do it! Fight for your goal! Never underestimate confidence. (:

Island Creamery

Today I was half asleep at 9 AM, so at that time I thought still can sleep awhile more. In the end, I overslept! Woke up near 12 PM... Aiyoyo. Quickly took a bath and rushed to church. Waited for the bus super long, then reached church really late, did not even eat lunch. After church, Jeremy, Rachel and I took a bus down to Bukit Timah's NUS to meet Evelyn. The NUS there is only for Law Faculty, so not really big or nice. Then I ate there, Beef Ball Kuay Teow Soup. Then we were still on the idea of going Island Creamery even though it was raining. So we took a huttle bus down to a bus stop and took a taxi there, nearby only. We ordered the 'ReversO' ice cream there, it was nice. By time Titus joined us, the whole tub of ice cream was gone. Haha. One tub of ice cream costs $9.00. So Titus just joined us for chatting and we finally left there at around 6:30 PM. Then I must walk over the same bus stop near NUS to take 171 back home. And that's all. Shall post one retarded video...

Nothing Is Impossible

Got nothing to post for my day, so I'll be sharing on nothing is impossible. Many extraordinary people came from plain, ordinary background. As a historian, I'd pick Hitler as one example. Nowhere near good as a student, dropped out of high school at the age of 16 with no diploma. He merely ended WWI as a lance corporal. But because of his power of speech, and his will to succeed, he slowly rose to become a ruler in Germany. But sadly, he abused his authority and did not really make life easy for the Germans either. My point is, with the right attitude and right actions taken, we could achieve our highest of goals. No harm dreaming big, many successful people start from dreaming big. Anyone can laugh on your ambition, but you just continue believing to attain the last laugh. We start from Addidas then to Nike, meaning we start to have the 'impossible is nothing' attitude set and we 'just do it', pursue what we aim for. So long you don't give up on yourself, there's still God who won't give up on you. Just do your best and he'll do the rest. (:

Puppet Masters. (today I watched this battle again)

Not much time to blog, may go off soon, so I'll cut this short. Basically today quite slack at home, think I've used too much of the computer, haha. Quite fast level 10 at bridge, now more wins than loses despite having so many stupid defeats. I think I have to go for a night jog and exercise then bathe, so goodbye.

Shhhh... I'm secretly posting in the dark again... My dark room that is. Just a brief recall for my day, I woke up rather early, considering I slept past 3 AM. Then got prepared and went to church. Ate breakfast together with mum and 2 sisters at the church's nearby Taiwanese food centre. I had 'you tiao' + cold soya milk and a plate of carrot cake. Then went up to church for cell. Played Indian Poker, super fun. Actro & Jared got forfeited, the dance super retarded. Hahaha. Then shared about the week and had word as usual, done by Titus. Then I, Jared, Zeph and Timothy went down to the Ba Chor Mee stall again. The stall auntie there already know my preferences already. (: Then after that, we went up for service. Went home after service ended. So tired that I took a nap when I reached home, so now quite energetic. Uhhhh ok, that's all.

Pitter Patter Rain Drops

My day is basically as gloomy as the weather. O: Because of the thunderstorm, I couldn't go out... Was supposed to go out and shop for clothes... But never mind, I could do it another time. Sometimes the rain is important too, so I shall not make much a fuss out of it. Probably tomorrow I'll be super tired in church again, Arsenal vs Newcastle late match. -.-

Today was playing viwawa, bridge and big 2.5. Then was rather lazy to go out play badminton... So sorry Cedric. (: Already wasted $6 on Fico, then this time badminton court? Don't feel like... So for the third day in the row, I lazed my ass off at home. Ok, I should at least go exercise... So, I may start going for frequent jogs and stuff like that. Day Of Rest

Today nothing much to do, basically resting at home. Both legs ache, then right leg got one part bruised (got swept directly by someone's leg yesterday). Early this morning at about 4, I woke up to watch Arsenal vs Hull City - FA Cup quarter-finals. Arsenal win by a controversial Gallas header, but still it was nice and Arsenal will be meeting Chelsea in the semi-finals. And because of facebook that I got quite a number of emails? O: That's all for my day...

*update (3:47 PM): Played soccer at 10 AM, was quite fun... But really tiring and part of my leg is swelling a little. Played without eating breakfast, so very hungry after the game, and not much energy. Scored only 3 goals in total? Did not play much anyway. Then some of us went to eat at the nearby food centre after the game which ended at 1 PM. With all feeling so tired, I guess everyone went home after that. I'm gonna end this post here, not sure whether to go GNK camp or not... Sigh. Shall see...






(11:57 PM): Did not go camp, but went for the nocturnal camp meeting at AMK Hub. Venue not that easy to choose, hope we get the venue we want and everything goes smoothly. Ok that's all, bye.

Did not do much today, mostly at home... So nothing interesting to post. Tomorrow will be looking forward to playing soccer and helping out in the GNK camp. Shall make this a real short post, bye.

Today basically went church in the morning. In cell, we played the '2 truth statements and 1 false statement' icebreaker. Titus was giving out sweets to the people who guessed correctly. Then he shared word. After cell, went down together with Jared, Marshall and Zeph to eat Ba Chor Mee again. Then Jared and Marshall went to Malaysia. Then I went up for service. Then I was part of the Myanmar mission team last year end and I shared a little of my experience along with the other members and the Chiang Mai mission team. After service, Jeremy, Rachel and I went down to GNK room to discuss on the GNK camp games. I went home after that, bus and train very squeezy, probably because of the weather. That's all.

Hiding in room and blogging... Shhhh. Basically today, I went out in the afternoon for MLM Training in church. After that, waited for parents and we went for a relative's wedding dinner. The food was quite ok, felt really full, but we ha to wait very long till it was served... Haha. That's why ended really late, shouldn't be posting as mum did not allow but felt uneasy not updating my blog. (: Really happy just now Arsenal thrashed Blackburn 4 - 0. Liverpool are on a thrashing streak?! Owned Manchester United 4 - 1. Wow. That's all I shall post, quite short and emo.

Walking Day

Afternoon met Jeremy to find out about some campsite. He said it is at Lim Chu Kang area, must take 975. We don't know exactly which bus stop to stop at, so we dropped off some where and walked around... The place super 'ulu'? Only one bus service for it and is like at some army training area? Then we walked and walked to find the location of the campsite... Finally too much of walking, we had to call the campsite and find out exactly which bus stop. Then total we had to walk a distance of quite a number of bus stops... Once we reached that bus stop, we still had to walk a super long distance?! It's so far in that it needed about 10 - 15 minutes walk from the bus stop. Beside it got the MOE adventure campsite! Reminded me of my Primary 5 camp, really. Was such fun and experience that time... So basically a lot of walking, and I went to collect my laptop after that. Finally it's ok! For now... And hopefully forever. (:

Shootout Thriller

Woke up at 3.30 AM to watch Arsenal vs Roma - UEFA Champions League match. Arsenal won by 7 - 6 in penalties. The match ended past 6 AM? Then of course I went back to sleep again and woke up super late, almost noon. Went PJC to meet Cedric at 3.30 PM, then we went back KSS together. Then we helped out at the A Maths peer tutoring? Did not do much also... Quite rusty and tired with quite little time as well. March holidays is up soon for uniformed schoolers? Haha, enjoy the one week holiday. (:

Cookies Day!

Woke up slightly past 9 AM! Quite big acheivement. (: Had chocolate chip cookies & milk for breakfast. Reached church slightly past 11 AM, helped Pastor Mary sought and pick out photos. After that we discussed about Mark and decided to meet him. Then I SMSed him, then we were allowed to go over his house to visit, he was like 'why we go his house for?'. Hah. Then Pastor Mary and I went to eat yam rice + fish soup + braised 'tau kua' & egg. Then we took a cab to Mark's house. His house is rather big and spacious. His dog is cute, but one lazy dog. Haha. Aunty Aileen was home, but later she went out to work. We looked around the house and chatted. Then I and Pastor Mary were served Coffee/Tea & cookies. Famous Amos cookies are just good. ;P Then we left after prayer. Mark sent us to the bus terminal. We followed him to Tampines Mall to eat first. Then I and Pastor Mary took bus 969, I had to take bus 963 back when I reached Woodlands. That's all for the day, going to sleep soon, must watch Arsenal vs AS Roma - UEFA Champions League match.

Did not wake up early as usual, I still fancy enjoying my sleep. Haha. Played a little of Renegade then one game of spades, from losing to win. Then I went to church. Received an SMS from Pastor Mary that they are at the soya bean stall, so I walked to the Taiwanese food centre nearby (which is as known as the soya bean stall, as it is known for its soya bean milks and beancurd). Ate the Taiwanese Mee Swa, but they add pig intestines instead of oysters and shredded chicken. Also ate the soya beancurd + 'you tiao'. Then we went to church for our weekly 'leadership training'. Today we got 4 people instead of the usual three, Yong En came. (: Then after that, we helped Pastor Mary sought out some photos and tomorrow I'm going to help her in church. Then we left and I went back home. Just now played renegade again, first game went in halfway but got best K/D ratio, second game got MVP and most kills, then third game sucked (at least got a decent K/D ratio). Was without internet till 5+ PM, not sure why. Had troubles waking up, last night could not really sleep well, had to go out to the hall and sleep on the sofa... Rather uncomfortable. Mainly watched TV, exercise and spent quiet time with God. Currently resting full time is nice, but really longing to play soccer and be more active. O:

Went to church a little late, but fortunately cell just was about to start when I arrived. Then we played the 'Uno Boom' game again. I did word today, wow. After cell, I went to eat 'Ba Chor Mee' stall together with Jared again, just cannot get sick of it. (: Was just in time for youth service when we went up. After service got a short meeting then went home already, then I took a nap. Just now at 9:30, I watched Arsenal vs Burnley, FA Cup match. Arsenal won 3 - 0! (Vela, Eduardo, Eboue) Next will be Hull City in the quarter-finals. And that's about all... Byebye.

Was in church for almost the whole afternoon and night. 2 PM I attended the 'Million Leaders Mandate' training, lasted till almost 5:10 PM. Then went down with some youths and young adults to the nearby Taiwanese food centre and I ordered just a cup of soya bean milk. After that, went back to church, managed to play one game of bridge, then helped arrange chairs in the main hall. After that, we went to get some food from the 'Alpha Marraige' course buffet, cause they got quite a lot of food. The green malay rice is nice, with the food like the deep fried potato and chicken wings, curry vegetables and fish, plus chili is shiok. Then attended a meeting till about 8 PM. Then straight away got prayer meeting, ended past 10 PM. Then I joined them for supper but did not eat anything, then went back home after that, train to Bugis then direct bus home... But this time the bus got Bengs and Lians... Super scoffed. Pfft. Forgot to tap the Ez-Link card when I got off the bus, hopefully not a problem. Then reached back home super late, almost 12 AM... Just ate Tea Leaf Egg, super nice, not like the lousy ones which taste almost the same as a normal hard boiled egg, this one has a lot of the taste and the sauce managed to get in the egg till the egg white and yoke turned dark colour. And that's all for my day, goodnight!



Eww... Sick.

Went for a medical checkup + X-Ray at Woodlands Civic Centre... Medical checkup and X-Ray is required by Nanyang Polytechnic. Have to wait here and there for rather long, cause maybe got quite a number of patients? The conducting of X-Ray is fast, go in the room, stand with my back facing the light, about 5 seconds then can leave already. After that, I took a train to Orchard to send my laptop back for servicing again. Next week Thursday then get back... Sigh. I heard tomorrow Kranji Secondary got Annual Road Run? I want to go and run! I'll most likely go tomorrow... But must wake up early. No choice.

Itching Real Bad To Play Soccer!

It's been raining heavily and now still raining?! Nevermind, nice and cooling weather to sleep later. (: Today was just basically slacking at home as usual... Can say that it is relaxing, much better than studying. But I somehow forgot to call Sony, tomorrow shall settle it once and for all! These few weeks my legs were itching to play soccer, just feel like playing soccer so much! Cannot afford to keep rotting away and let my skills rust. Going to see what I can do about it... Goodnight.

Waited 2 Freaking Long Weeks For Nothing

Slept at 1+ AM and woke up at 3.40 AM in the morning. Watched Arsenal vs West Bromwich Albion, finally Arsenal won... 3 - 1. Went back to sleep at 6 AM. Woke up again and it was near 12 PM! Quickly washed up, eat and changed up. Went to Wisma Atria to collect my laptop. Guess what? ... The problem was not solved and I only noticed it when I went back home to use my laptop! Dang! After collecting my laptop, I was feeling happy and headed to church already... Our leadership training thing started at 3+ PM. After that, I went back home, which is when I notice my laptop has gone back to square and I waited for more than 2 weeks for nothing. I WANT MY LAPTOP BACK TO NORMAL! They better repair it well or get me another new one or refund me, I don't care. Quite pissed, that's all for my day.

Got woken up by the ringing of my handphone... Sony called to tell me that I could collect my latop tomorrow, finally... Did not wake up early at all, past 10:30 AM already. The weather today was really good, so cooling and fine, did not really rain... Just a slight drizzle. Did my usual morning quiet time with God, then watched D.I.E. Finished watching the whole series during late afternoon, quite fast actually. Considering I ate my lunch rather slowly, and I went to the clinic to check out the medical checkup, Nanyang Polytechnic wants it by 10th March I think (troublesome right?). That's about all for today, bye! :D

Nothing much today, went for a jog at around noon time. Felt super hot and rather tired after that, then I took a cold bath not long after drinking 2 cups of iced pepsi, super shiok. Then most of the time I was watching D.I.E... The show getting addictive, anyway I ended at episode 19 part 4 (last part), got to go sleep already... If not I'll get scolded again. Goodnight, bye.

Celebrating 100th Post - Beginning Of March

Nothing really to celebrate about, Arsenal drew Fulham 0 - 0 for the 4th straight Premier League game... Quite a nice day today, woke up early for church as usual. Was combined service today, beside me were Zachary and Uncle Andrew. Service was rather good, speaker talk about the financial crisis thing, perception indeed. After service, we played like 1 game of bridge, second game disrupted... Then Jared and I were told to go to the cell lunch, celebrate Zi Yao's birthday. I and Jared went to 'da bao' the usual Ba Chor Mee and met our cell at King's Cafe, then we ate our packed Ba Chor Mee there... LOL. Felt rather weird and noobish, but never really regret. The food and drinks at the cafe are expensive, I ordered a cup of iced chocolate which cost me $2. Saw the menu that one rather small plate of fries is $2.20... Still the $3 Ba Chor Mee is worth it, economical and good. Then after the lunch, I was told meeting canceled, so I went back home. Reached home and took a nap, less than 2 hours. Then my God-Parents and God-Brothers came to my house for dinner at almost 7 PM. (: You think like those Ah Bengs and Lians that kind of fake 'gans' ah? Mine is the real one, we are like family ok? :D Then I showed Jared my MapleStory account, I still remembered my account... Wow. But I forgotten my AsiaSoft account, oh well who cares?! Then Jared was like playing it for fun, cause he did not play for rather long, then we was noobing around. MapleStory is a screwed up game anyway. -.- Alrights, I shall end this here... with a commercial. (:
